About: Kids Are Heroes was created to empower kids to make a difference in the world. It all started with an 11 year old girl named MaryMargaret who built the site with her dad, Gabe. MaryMargaret wanted to show kids that they can help people and that they have the power to change the world. KidsAreHeroes.com highlights inspirational stories from kids who are making a difference. There are resources for kids and parents, and lists of featured schools and businesses.
